I been under the care of Dr Lieberman since 2014, and my most recent appointment with him was in January this year. I suffer with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome which has affected my left arm and hand. I have attended numerous appointments, and on each occasion I have found Dr Lieberman to be professional, caring, sincere, and friendly, which is a difficult combination to get right. Dr Lieberman has given great thought to the treatment of my condition, and has recommended and carried out a number of advanced treatments, when it would have been much easier for him to just prescribe me some strong pain-killers, and send me on my way. Dr Lieberman's knowledge and understanding through his research, of the causes and treatment of C.R.P.S.,is second to none, and under his care, and that of his excellent staff, my condition has significantly improved. No-one wants to be in pain and have to attend hospital, but if you are, Dr Lieberman is the Man with the Plan! Finally, I would just like to say 'Thank you' to Dr Lieberman, and I would recommend anyone who suffers from long term pain to ask to be referred to his clinic.

I have attended the Pain Clinic at Wythenshawe hospital under the care of Dr Ilan Lieberman and his team who in my opinion are the very best health provider I have met over many long years of treatment. I usually don't like going to hospital and get nervous and anxious but this is not the case at this clinic because the service and people are so outstanding that it is like visiting very useful friends. If only all NHS services could be like these doctor and support nurses and administration staff! A couple of weeks ago I attended for Stellate Ganglion Blockage with Dr Lieberman using a much longed for piece of equipment that made my treatment less painful, much quicker, less stressful for both me and the doctor, more accurate therefore lowering the change of mistakes because the medication could be injected into the correct place rather than into a blood vessel, artery or any other delicate and vital area of my neck. I was dismayed, however, to see the sign the much needed equipment was only on hire but it is essential there is one available at all times to enable Dr Lieberman do his job correctly and to minimise litigation due to serious injury and serious consequences for all concerned. I sincerely hope I never have to have my treatment without this essential piece of equipment. If such equipment he could see more patients than he can without it therefore help reduce waiting times therefore improving the NHS waiting list of patients waiting for treatment. I cannot stress enough how much this treatment makes to my life because before being referred to the tender care of Dr Lieberman I was being admitted to our local hospital at least five times a year. I am extremely pleased this has resulted in not being admitted since 2002. A long as I can get my treatment every three months it enables me to live a very productive life I spite of being 75 years old and a wheelchair user with heart disease. None of this would be possible without Dr Lieberman and his wonderful staff for which I will be eternally grateful. Thank you everyone for being a First Class Team. Margaret Burrow, MBE.
